High in protein, low in fat - it's chargrilled guinea pig
Guinea pig could be on the menu soon for British consumers. Peruvians eat about 65 million guinea pigs per year and a new breed of super guinea pigs could be exported if there is demand.
There are many delicious ways of serving guinea pig, such as fried in a peanut sauce or a guinea pig stew, in which the meat is marinated in beer before being cooked.
