Great Shelford Recreation Ground is where we hold our Feast and other events of the Festival.
It is just off Woollards Lane in the heart of Great Shelford village.
Great Shelford is 3 miles south of Cambridge with easy access to the A10 and M11.
Shelford is the first railway station south of Cambridge on the Liverpool Street line - only 5 minutes away!
From Shelford Station turn right (south) along Station Road to the traffic lights at Tunwells Lane.
Straight across into Woollards Lane.
The Recreation Ground is on the left.
Total 5-7 minutes walk.
Regular trains run even on Sundays and take just 5 minutes from Cambridge.

From Addenbrookes hospital take the Babraham Road (A1307) to the Gog Magog roundabout then turn right up Hinton Way, over the hill into Great Shelford. Cross the railway line, straight ahead at the traffic lights and the Recreation Ground is on Woollards Lane on the left.
From the M11 take Junction 11 (A10, Cambridge south) At the second set of traffic lights turn right following signs for Shelfords, Stapleford, Sawston. Continue for 2 miles, passing Scotsdales Nursery and the Rugby Ground) into Great Shelford. Turn right at the traffic lights along Woollards Lane. The Recreation Ground is on the left.
From Sawston take the Sawston bypass (A1301) through Stapleford and cross the railway bridge into Great Shelford. At the traffic lights turn left into Woollards Lane. The Recreation Ground is on the left.
The 7 offers frequent services and connects Shelford directly to places from Saffron Walden right through the City to Cottenham.
