Husband and wife duo Steve Bingham and Brenda Stewart present an intriguing and unusual mixture of duos using violins, viola, electric violins and live looping.  In the glorious setting of St Mary’s Church in Great Shelford.  The ticket price includes cheese and a glass of wine, plus children can attend for free when accompanied by an adult.

Steve and Brenda present an intriguing and unusual mixture of duos using violins, viola, electric violins and live looping.
Alongside the rich standard repertoire, including the wonderful violin and viola duos by Mozart and duos and solos by the likes of Bach, Telemann and others, Steve and Brenda are able to add a panoply of other duo works including pieces and arrangements, in a wide range of styles, by Michael Jackson, Coldplay, Mark Summer, Eric Satie, Daft Punk, and more!

This husband and wife team have worked together in the Bingham String Quartet for over 35 years. The Quartet has performed and recorded worldwide and is also known for it’s educational courses and workshops. Outside the Quartet Steve gives solo recitals and workshops as is also known for his conducting. He is also Editor for the European String Teachers Association (UK) and a director of PartPlay, an online chamber music resource. Brenda was head of strings at several schools between 1990 and 2007, including Culford School and Radley College. She is now Rector for four Church of England parishes on the north Norfolk coast, whilst continuing with her solo, duo and quartet playing.
